As I rushed out of Barneys, this bag in the case display caught my eye and made me stop and take a closer look. Plus, this is a new brand coach crossbody bags for me and I’m always looking for different designers to cover. Delvaux is a Belgium brand that has been around since 1829 and this Brilliant MM was their first bag! The quality is old school in its attention to detail and craftsmanship, there is definite pride that you can sense just by coach totes on sale touching and feeling the bag. Now that these ladylike bags from the 60′s are so big, they are getting the attention of stores like Barneys (and blogs like Bag Snob!). That was an era where women have one good bag and they use it until it is worn out (or their next birthday!) but by the looks of the leather and stitching, this will never get coach backpacks destroyed, it will only get better with age. The price reflects the longevity you will get from it, € 2540 ($3230 US) at Delvaux online or at Barneys New York, 660 Madison Ave.

So, one of our readers (You know who you are.) loves metallic studs, chains and other hardware details on shoes.
Unfortunately, the Manolo Blahnik Shoes Sale tendency of shoe-designers to create their rocker-chic and club shoes with stainless steel, aluminum, or other silver-toned hardware inevitably leaves her disappointed.
This is because this reader craves a definite luxe side to her shoes. And, for her, silver-toned hardware is, from what I have gathered, too close to the whole grunge/punk/goth vibe (which, admittedly, occasionally revels in fashions that display a rough-edged, DIY quality) to truly embody that added elegance she is looking for in a pair of shoes.
It is that certain, ‘je ne sais quoi’, if you will….except that this reader knows exactly what that missing element is that would maintain her attention in the current crop of hardware-bedecked shoes. Gold – or at least the appearance thereof. Unlike me, this reader is not satisfied by mere sparkly-metal decorative bits. Where I actually prefer the cool, understated sparkle of silver tones, she prefers the added warmth and shimmer of gold tones, as well as Louboutin Sandals the the visible luxury that gold evokes.
And, who better than Roberto Cavalli to turn to when looking for golden luxe to adorn your feet?
Of course, this pair may still not quite match this reader’s idea of a perfect pair of shoes. To meet that strict Louboutin Short Boots standard, they’d likely have to be a little bit taller in the heel as well. But, they do give hope that other styles may be produced in the (hopefully, near) future to satisfy one shoe-lover’s urge for footwear styles that successfully capture that elusive-yet-glamourous Midas touch.

Happy Monday, folks.
Summer hit here hard last week in my part of the country, if a day late temperature-wise. Which has me personally shopping my Louboutin Wedges closet for alternatives to the boots that still litter my none-too-organized wardrobe’s floor.
And, of course, wishful thinking brings me to engage in online window-shopping as well. Which is a bit masochistic when I am on a budget-healthy, shoe-restriction. But what’s a shoe lover to do?
Anyway, I go peeking over at Saks and what do I find? Boots, boots and more boots for Fall 2010, coming into stock now.
Argh!!!!
No, I will not show you any boots today – no matter that they are trickling back into retailers in anticipation of the fall retail season. I won’t do it. Not today.
Today, I am going to Tory Burch Sale indulge in more of an all-seasons, dinner-date to club-vibe of a shoe.
These are subtle statement shoes. Yes, that is a bit of an intentional oxymoron. These are coy at first glance with a bit of an edge expressed in the heel.
These are …dare I say it? … a bit like a Manolo Blahnik Shoes Sale mullet …. business in the front, but party in the back. Luckily, these are much prettier than any mullet I’ve ever seen. I particularly like how the chain is integrated into the corset-styled lacing – just the thing to hint at your exotic side.
